I’ve been really busy the last few days with school and band garbage and work. Branan came and hung out in joplin on the 24th or something, we had a great time listening to some dude butcher beth by kiss, an alice cooper deep cut and a couple beatles songs. best open mic ever. I’ve been trying to play the hermit game a lot lately. stay home as much as I can. go ride the park once a week or so, play some guitar. whatever. Still cant write a song to save my life. It’s Halloween and I am pretty sure I’m gonna stay in. I need to rope a kid into getting me some candy. that’s the last thing I need really… candy? what the fuck. I listened to “Nobody’s Darlings” on the way home from class today and was pleasantly surprised when I realised I still love that album. Bike riders still gives me the feeling it did a few years ago when it came out. good stuff. I took some photos at Autumn a couple nights ago for a project, I’m gonna go back saturday night and try to get some more stuff as well. here are a few I liked

how do you measure the success of a night out of town playing a show? Is it the number of people who come? the money you make? the number of times you vomit on the side of I-71? I’d argue that all of these are integral to the formation of an awesome evening. I got to hang with Joe Bob a bit, and that was fun as always. Had some fun ith Cory fucking up his song cause I was waaaaaaaaaaay to drunk and of course lost my celly. I’m awesome… end

Man, I was watching youtube videos of old Little Devil stuff. they officially laid LD to rest a couple days ago. two of the best things to come out of LD were the videos “Criminal Mischief” and “Seek & Destroy.”

Holy shit they were good. I wanted to be Jason Enns so bad haha.

I really intended more of this to be full of intelligent writings but I cant write a new song let alone write anything but mindless dribble on this thing. I havent updated my goings on lately so I’ll do that.

My bike’s all together and I’m slowly but surely getting more and more used to it. It’s light as fuck and that’s a different story for me. My bike has always been heavy as shit so as to offset the fact that I’m gigantic. I posted a bike check a while back on another blog but I’ll put my newest one up here. I’ve gone to Autumn and rode a time or two on the super legit ramps. I’m used to a quartet giving every time I hit it, solid ramps are weird!

I’ve (of course) been staying on top of politics and whatnot and loving every second of it.  I’m stuck on Obama and enjoying the ride.

My D200 hasn’t gotten the use it deserves lately because of the bicycle and some musical endeavors. I’m going to remedy this situation on our fall break. I have Saturday night through Tuesday afternoon off, and I might head out of town for 24 hours to just generally get away. Go ride my bike and whatnot.
